End-to-End Encrypted Groups

Each group operates with its own encryption keys, generated and stored locally on member devices. SECR servers never have access to group keys, membership lists, or message content.

Private Membership & Hidden Groups

Group presence is never broadcast or discoverable. Groups can be hidden entirely and unlocked only with a specific PIN. No global directory exists, preventing external actors from scanning or identifying groups.

Encrypted Group Calls

SECR allows fully private group voice calls using the same end-to-end encryption system. Call data flows through encrypted channels and is never visible to servers or observers.

Local-Only Group Data

Group history, media, and keys are stored exclusively on member devices. No cloud backups, no syncing, no server-side history.

Controlled Access

Group creators can manage membership manually, ensuring only trusted participants join. Permissions are managed locally to avoid centralized control or vulnerabilities.
